Meet The Speakers

Kyle Bellingar | “Can’t Figure it Out? Be a Child”

Kyle Bellingar Ignite OKC 6 Speaker

I moved to OKC from Florida in 2013 after finishing my bachelor’s degree for a project management position with AT&T. After taking a few months off to travel at the beginning of 2015, I began as a Senior Performance Analyst for the State of Oklahoma (Office of Management and Enterprise Services). I love traveling, and most of my time outside work is spent with my German Shepherd, Zoe, or learning something new. I’m passionate about lifelong learning, solving problems as best as I can, and making the world a better place.

Telana McCullough | “Creative Maladjustment Through Art”

Telana McCullough Ignite OKC 6 Speaker

Telana McCullough is a third-year student at Oklahoma City University School of Law where she serves as the President of her school’s Public Interest Law Group. Telana is currently an intern with the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office of Civil Rights Enforcement and sits on Board of Directors of Equal Justice Works in Washington, DC. Telana has served as an intern with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Global Justice Volunteers in Manila, Philippines/the Center for Changing Lives in Chicago, IL, Project Transformation in Dallas, TX and the NAACP Washington DC Legislative Bureau. She earned a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Central Oklahoma. Telana is in law school because she wants to help make justice more accessible for society’s most vulnerable people, especially those who are marginalized and limited by a lack of socioeconomic resources. She enjoys dreaming, art, adventure and mentoring an amazing second-grader in her spare time.

Paul Folger | “Unlocking Innovation”

Paul Folger - Ignite OKC 6 Speaker

Paul Folger anchors KOCO-5 at 5, 6 and 10 pm with Jessica Schambach. He’s an Emmy Award winning journalist who’s been at KOCO for 7 years. Paul has worked all across the southern part of the country including reporting in Dallas and anchoring mornings in Jacksonville, Florida. He was also an Anchor/Reporter in New Bern, North Carolina and a Bureau Chief in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Paul is a good fit for KOCO because it’s a breaking news station. When big stories break, he and the team are on it, taking viewers to the scene to show what’s happening first hand.

Paul graduated from the University of North Carolina, Asheville. In his free time he’s cycling, swimming, cooking or renovating a 1950’s hamburger ranch home.
